Just to mention a few things. Wow I don't know where to start! There are so many things going on at this time some days I am overwhelmed with how much this club is doing with the few active members that we have. Which brings me to what I really want to address. At this time we only have around 25 members who have paid their dues! This is down from 150 just a little over a year ago! Some of you have paid your dues to the MSA directly which does not cover your Thumbs UP dues. When you pay your dues to us we automatically pay your MSA dues for you, this way it's easier for us to maintain our records and insure the requirement that all members of our club must be members in good stranding with the MSA. If your on our list of past members and are not current, watch your e-mail and mail box in the next few weeks. We will be contacting you so that you will know where you stand if you don't hear from us and are not sure what your current status is please contact us.
Our bylaws state that past dues must be paid as well as current dues to be reinstated as an active member, but the board has decided due to the current economic situation to for go this requirement at this time. So all that you need to do, to be reactivated is pay your current dues, which are due and payable by October 1st.
Be sure to go to the Trail Report for up to date information on groomers and new trail projects and plans.
Annual business meeting plans are being made to make this an enjoyable event not to be missed if you have ideas that you think others might like let us know. The meeting will be held in October! Three positions on the board are up for elections this year.
We are currently looking for a house with 2 to 3 acres for a club house and future pole barn for the groomers, preferably with access to the trails. If you know or see something that might work please let us know.
Don't miss out on the best hog roast in the thumb! (well at least I think so) This is our annual club picnic and landowner appreciation day! This year we have also invited all of the businesses that have been so gracious to us, providing us with prizes for our events and monetary support though out the year.

When: Sunday July 19 th From 12:30 PM till ? Hog will be served at or around 4:30 PM .
Location: Wilson Park Pavilion, Deckerville
Club members are supplying side dishes and desserts. Soft Drinks, Paper plates and silverware will be provided by the club. BYOB!
Horseshoes, volleyball, tennis, and games and prizes for the kids.

The park is located on Park St. which is south of the traffic light in town on the east side of Ruth Rd.
