Be sure to attend as we will be voting on the amendments to the club constitution and nominating candidates for Chapter Chair Person.
Grass Drags, Swap Meet and More!
George Peters has requested that anyone wishing to work on the Grass Drags be at Wilson Park, in Deckerville on Saturday May 17th at 2:00 PM. Everyone is welcome as there is a lot to do to get this event off the ground and running!

We have added a new feature to our web site! You asked for it and we listened. Join the forum and enter your own post, comment on one of the existing posts or just see what others are saying! To go to the blog go to the links on the left of this page and click on "Our Blog" We will be changing the calendar too! As soon as we have it all working I will change our current calendar to the new one.

New Trail Almost Signed!
The Minden City East, Minden City West, and Ruth trails are almost a reality. Thanks to the hard work of five of the club members. It looks like this trail should be open for the 2008-2009 season. We did run into a few landowners that would not agree to let us use there land, mostly due to fears that people won't stay on the trails.
There are still trails that we have proposed that need to be worked on! We need for club members in the Croswell, Applegate, Port Sanilac areas to come together to work on this project. If we can get started this summer we could possibly have the trails open for the 2009-2010 season. We would like to have the Port Sanilac to Forester Trail open for the 2008-2009 season, and if we could get enough volunteers it might be possible to get this trail to Applegate and Sandusky! Unless we get your help it won't happen!
We have a group in Marlette that is willing to work on a trail from Marlette to Sandusky and if the Club members in the Kingston area, that expressed a desire to have the trails connect to them, are willing to come forward now is the time to get involved! Attend the next club meeting as we will be kicking off this project and we need your input! If you have been riding in these areas already then you have a good idea where the trail need to be, so come and share it with us.
Trail Maps !
Don't wait till they a all gone! We will be using the same trail maps next winter! If we get the Minden City - Ruth trails open we will be printing out a separate map for this new trail.
You can have one delivered to you by sending us a check or money order for $7.00 to Thumbs Up Snowmobile Club P.O. Box 141 Deckerville, MI 48427. That's $5.00 for the map and $2.00 S&H.
